Rincon Research Corporation seeks an experienced professional to manage contracts and subcontracts administration efforts in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment with similarly motivated electrical engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists who are collectively responsible for creating custom solutions for digital signal processing and digital communications problems for customers in the DoD and intelligence communities.

What are the primary responsibilities in the Contracts Administrator position?
Responsibilities include administering prime contract with client, including daily customer interface, costing proposals, processing ongoing contract modifications, regular requests for additional work, and audit and other annual review requirements.
Assist contract manager with the administration of major fixed price subcontracts with telecommunications, consulting, and technology providers. Responsible for transition and oversight of third party contracts for software, hardware and services.
Assist the Contract Manager with the preparation and management of contracts, including but not limited to, time and materials, firm-fixed price, cost plus, and unit based contracts.
Monitors contract spending and reports monthly expenditures to project managers and sub-contractors.
What required background will make you successful?
Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance required.
2+ years relevant experience in government contracting arena.
Working knowledge of FAR and DFAR interpretation.
Experience with proposal preparation, and contract closeouts.
Advanced knowledge of MS EXCEL (i.e. pivot tables, macros).
Must be able to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
