Contract - Experienced
Procurement Analyst SME Tasks:
• Draft/edit/maintain and distribute: 1) Pre-award; 2) Post-award; and, 3) Close-out documents in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and various Federal Government policies and procedures; • Manage assigned tasks in accordance with approved internal processes;
• Provide technical recommendations to the CO on business/contractual matters regarding the FAR; • Prepare contractual documents utilizing the Global Financial Management System (GFMS) which utilizes Momentum software; • Coordinate with all departments as necessary in the preparation of responses to Government and Contractor correspondence and other requests; • Maintain close, professional interface with internal and external customer personnel (technical, administrative, Government and Contractor) • Draft terms and conditions to ensure Government interests; • Maintain files in an up-to-date and audit-ready condition with all contractual data, correspondence and status; • Work with COR(s) to ensure communication with external customers is in compliance with FAR/Contract Terms;
• Ensure compliance with contractual commitments from COR and Contractor • Monitor in conjunction with the Program Manager, performance against the original cost allocation and con- tract requirements in order to anticipate necessary changes in contract funding or scope of work • Notify CO, COR and Financial Management Officer (FMO) when contract/order has reached 75% funding limitation; • Initiate, in conjunction with CO, COR and FMO contract close-out process; • Monitors close-out process; ensuring contracts are closed expeditiously • Track and provide status all modification and audits to the COR and CO • Ensure contract status documents are maintained in a current and accurate manner; and, • Maintain working knowledge of Federal and Commercial contract rules and regulations.
****MUST HAVE A CURRENT SECRET CLEARANCE****
Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Ability to gather pertinent facts, make thorough analyses, and arrive at sound conclusions.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Additional Salary Information: This will be a base year contract and several option years as well
