Level II: Perform routine to moderately difficult purchasing and specifications development work.
Level III: Perform the full range of purchasing and specifications development work independently; analyzes users' requirements and prepares appropriate specifications, terms and conditions.
Level V: Supervise specialists engaged in developing a wide variety of specifications for formal purchasing requirements in the State’s centralized purchasing program.
Requires a bachelor’s degree or comparable experience. Level II – 6 months; Level III – 1 ½ years; Level V – 3 ½ years of purchasing experience.
