Greylocke & Company has been supporting a research-focused, not-for-profit for nearly 8 years, securing the best and brightest contracts professionals to support its VP of Contracts. They now have an opportunity for a Principal Manager, Contracts & Grants.
In this paramount role, the Principal Manager, Contracts & Grants will be responsible for contracts, subcontracts and procurement efforts in support of a major program based in Mountain View, CA. Throughout the contract lifecycle, the Principal Manager, Contracts & Grants will serve as the lead on all proposal negotiations; draft and prepare RFPs, RFIs and other bid documents for subcontractors; manage add-on task orders under existing awards; and review all terms and conditions to minimize risk to our client.
In order to be considered for this position, professional candidates must be credentialed and have demonstrable experience as follows:
Bachelor’s degree and professional certification via NCMA, such as CPCM or CFCM is preferred
No less than ten (10) years’ experience performing contracting, subcontracting, cooperative agreements, procurement, negotiation, and eventual close-out activities
Contractual management of IDIQ contracts is highly desired as well
Working knowledge of ITAR and EAR plus other intellectual property compliance and regulations is preferred
