This Contracts Manager position is responsible for leadership of the Contracts function with Parsons Government Services in support of key projects from $500 Million to access of $2 Billion, in delivery of Program Management, Construction with the United States Government, prime contractors and international customers.
The position requires strategic leadership and oversight of contract management activities on multiple programs; to include the review and approval of proposals and contracts, provide strategic thought leadership to develop innovative contracting solutions, and senior level support to develop partnerships and resolve issues with internal and external customers. The position reports directly to Vice President, Contracts Management.

Develop innovative contracting solutions which will result in achieving program and business area objectives.
Own tough issues and utilize knowledge of situational dynamics to establish personal engagement strategy.
Shape the opinions of key stakeholders and negotiating skillfully to create the best outcome possible.
Balancing competing priorities of constituencies as compared to business needs and using astute judgment as to when to seek executive level direction.
Ensuring compliance to company policies and guidelines.
Examining the contract environment in all target opportunities with regards to terms and conditions, model contracts, legal environment, potential partners (with Supply Chain), contract performance history; identifying and initiating initial export license requirements.
4-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
Minimum 12+ years of Prime Contracts Professional experience is required
Proficiency in contracts fundamentals, including significant knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions with respect to, for example, cost management, earned value, funding management, reporting, etc.
Requires a comprehensive knowledge of Federal Business practices to include DoD, DoE, FAA, NASA, and the negotiation of Prime Constructions contracts.
Prime Constructions contracts experience with DoE highly preferred
NCMA certification (CPCM or CFCM)
U.S. Citizenship status is required
Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and Excellent interpersonal skills
