FranConnect seeks a detail-oriented and organized Contracts Manager who will be responsible for leading the efforts associated with the contract life cycle management process for all sales and other company contracts. Liaisons between companies and customers for contractual matters. Drafts, evaluates and executes all contracts that are negotiated between the business and customers. Works with the legal and/or finance department to monitor adherence and potential risks to the business.
As part of the FranConnect team, your essential duties will include:
Review, revise and potentially negotiate new contracts and contract amendments. Coordinate the design of legal contract verbiage with other internal departments including Legal, Finance, and Product Management.
Act as the point of contact for both internal and external customers regarding contractual issues, exercising a high-level of professionalism during interactions.
Apply formal, best-practice methodologies to develop and implement contract strategies and processes to support the Sales department. Recommend improvements and innovations to oversight of contracting process and ensuring contract accuracy.
Manage workflows through the usage of a contracts tracking system to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met throughout all contract stages.
Manage all contract templates and contract administration database, including maintenance of contractual deadlines and terms, and ensuring that all contracts are electronically scanned and uploaded into database and securely maintained.
Escalate complex legal and factual issues to attorneys and assist in resolution.
Ensure compliance of all existing contracts, including partnering with Advocacy during termination requests and contract change requests, which may involve extensive research, statistical reporting and analyses.
Oversee organizational contract development and management activities and enforce organizational principles of integrity and compliance.
May assist with certain finance functions as it pertains to contracts and billable hours.
Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Finance department.
Ability to cross-functionally participate in projects and metrics gathering.
5+ years of experience in contract management or administration; sales contract management a plus
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline required
Experience working for a SaaS technology company a plus
Advanced excel user; create and manipulate spreadsheets, create pivot tables and graphs, develop formulas, etc.
Excellent analytical, business acumen, and project management skills
Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions using sound judgment, and implement appropriate solutions
Excellent negotiating skills
Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential information with discretion
