We currently have an immediate need for a Sr Contracts Manager.
The successful candidate must be knowledgeable and have at least 5 years previous experience as a contract administrator/manager in businesses involving equipment, software, construction services and maintenance services. . Knowledge and experience will be required in the following areas:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of agreements including:
Confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements
Commercial requests for proposals
Commercial sales contracts for turn-key delivery of equipment, software, construction services, and maintenance services.
Sales and Marketing support agreements including consultants, agents, distributors, resellers, proposal teaming, consortium, joint ventures and finders
Procurement agreements for both products and services including software license agreements
Ability to apply and familiarity with:
US laws applicable to commercial transactions including export control laws and regulations.
General principles and standards of US and international commercial transactions, including those related to delivery such as INCOTERMS and trade finance such as letters of credit, bid bonds, performance and warranty guarantees.
Provide support in the areas of project management, contract compliance and dispute resolution.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to draft and negotiate contracts and provide support to Sales teams and other company departments.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to explain complex contract requirements to various functional managers and apply their inputs to contract documents.
Must be able to collaborate well with sales staff and participate in discussion of complex issues with customer representatives in a selling environment.
Experience with U.S. federal contracting (FARs) a plus.
