B3 Group is looking for a talented Pricing Manager. The Pricing Manager will manage the organization’s pricing of its services and ODCs to the government while continuing to keep the organization competitive in the current market landscape. The Pricing Manager will conduct market research, design pricing policies, prepare pricing responses, and oversee the maintenance of historical pricing data.
In order to be successful in this position, we expect you to have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities;
Perform analysis and prepare pricing response for proposals, ranging in size from $4M to $100M or higher
Work with Leadership to devise and recommend bidding strategies to effectively compete against competitors
Interact with Capture Team, Business Development, Contracts and Procurement, and Executive Management to fully understand Level of Effort and pricing requirements
Summarize the details of the conclusions derived from the competitive analysis; conduct formal briefings to Executive Management; respond effectively to various competitive scenarios and counterpoints during real-time strategy discussion
Conduct pricing proposal reviews and win strategy workshops
Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and leadership relating to competitive pricing analysis
Perform direct analysis of the solicitation's pricing requirements and evaluation criteria, gather intelligence, and develop a competitive pricing analysis culminating in a target rate, win price, or other analysis as appropriate
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Finance, or other quantitative fields.
At least 5 years work experience in one of the following disciplines (or a combination thereof): pricing, program control, financial analysis, market research, or consulting focused on providing business strategies, competitive intelligence, or market research within the Federal marketplace.
Strong understanding of federal government pricing process and policies, FAR, and GSA Schedule contracts.
Understanding of the concept of cost vs. price, direct and indirect rate structures, professional compensation structures (salary and fringe), and labor classifications (Exempt and non-exempt).
Experience supporting the RFP/bids process, contract processes, and sourcing initiatives.
Use of Microsoft Office Applications with a strong proficiency in Excel, including manipulating spreadsheets to conduct what-if scenarios as well as generating moderate to complex spreadsheets for presentation to leadership.
Ability to multi-task and balance a number of proposals in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail, creativity and inquisitiveness, highly organized.
Ability to be equally successful working independently and within a team.
