Share your passion for contracting and contract management by joining the Architect of the Capitol (AOC)! The AOC's office of Acquisitions and Material Management Division is seeking an experienced construction contract specialist who will perform a variety of duties involving pre- and post-award functions, reviewing requests for procurement of complex equipment and services, preparing solicitation documents, analyzing proposals, negotiating with potential contractors, performing cost and/or price analysis, administering contracts, preparing position on protests and closing out contracts. The position requires knowledge of contracting principles, laws, regulations and procedures applicable to pre-award and post-award actions sufficient to award and administer contracts.
FAC-C, Level II and/or DAWIA Level II Certification is the minimum requirement
FAC-C, Level III and/or DAWIA Level III Certification must be obtained within 18 months of the hire date as a condition of employment.
