Job Description: Krendall Orren is seeking a professional to join a growing contracts and procurement team as a Subcontracts Administrator. This professional will be responsible for preparation and administration of subcontracts, task orders and subsequent modifications, in accordance with client and agency requirements, government regulations and procurement policies/procedures.
Subcontracts Administrator Duties include but are not limited to:
Develop, negotiate and administer subcontract agreements and other aspects of the acquisition process.
Demonstrate good problem-solving skills and able to work independently, while keeping internal customer and corporate procurement management updated on activity status.
Work with internal customers and management regarding acquisition requirements and issue resolution.
Development of new business proposals and resultant subcontract agreements of moderate dollar value, risk, creativity and complexity.
Analyze proposals for all areas of compliance (e.g. cost/T&C/etc.)
Supplier negotiations leading to award with subcontractors of various size and capabilities within the industry.
Implement and complete analysis on moderately complex supplier proposals, using knowledge of cost of price analysis concepts and tools.
Ensure post award compliance on the supplier’s performance (e.g. cost, and all other terms and conditions) of awarded agreements.
Perform post award modifications to agreements including all change related activities.
Member of the proposal process involving competitive solicitations.
Support internal and external audits and requests for information.
Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
4-7 years of industry experience with Federal Government Contracting and Subcontracting.
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its supplements, as well as the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Experience with Costpoint, preferred
