Serves as prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives. Prepare, negotiate and review various company contracts, including purchases, sales and business partnerships as needed.
Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts to include US Government contracts.
Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and costumer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production cost, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advices management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
Works under consultative direction toward long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated with considerable latitude for independent judgment. Virtually self-supervisory.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or required in related field; Master Degree preferred. Additional qualifications in law are a plus.
Minimum 13 to 15 years of experience in related filed. Proven work experience as a contract administrator, Contract Manager or relevant role. Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts.
