The Multinational Force and Observers, the independent international organization responsible for supervising the implementation of the Treaty of Peace between Egypt and Israel, seeks an experienced Contracts Manager. He/she will oversee the management and development of a Labor Supply Contract that provides approximately 600 Egyptian workers to support 1250 military and civilian personnel employed in the Sinai Peninsula. With one professional subordinate, the Contracts Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of contracts required to support the Force.
The ideal candidate will have a BA degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of successful experience contracting which must include no less than three years’ experience in overseeing O&M Contract Management. Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory. Proficiency with SAP, or another major ERP materials management/procurement system, and previous Middle East experience are highly desirable. Some knowledge of Arabic would be a plus.
