We are working directly with a hiring manager to identify a Contracts Manager to support a mid-sized company with an aggressive growth strategy. This position will provide corporate operations support for federal and non-government contract activities and support a range of contracts and contract activities.
This position requires the ability to apply sound judgement for contract and subcontract strategies and excellent communication skills to build internal and external customer relationships. The workload requires flexibility to prioritize assignments, multi-task, and adjust workloads to meet internal and external client needs.
This is a direct hire to our client offering a full-time salary and excellent benefits package. All work will be performed on-site at the company’s Northern Virginia location.
Experience should include the following:
10+ years of experience supporting prime contracts and subcontract administration preferable in government services.
Prior experience working with small, mid, and large organizations supporting service and solution-based contracts is preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Management, Administration, Accounting, Finance, etc.
Ability to work in a dynamic organization with an aggressive growth structure and effectively promote corporate policies and values.
Experience with all contract types including but not limited to FFP, Time and Materials, and Cost Plus.
Experience with GSA and GWAC schedule contracts and GSA schedule compliance and deliverables.
Strong knowledge of contract and subcontract principles and fundamentals and FAR/DFARS, including mandatory flow-down terms and conditions, and associated U.S Government regulations.
Ability to lead contracts and procurement activities and manage an effective compliance program.
Ability to manage contract deliverables, maintain contract metrics, and facilitate required contract actions.
Experience building relationships with customers and teaming partners to ensure effective communication to meet contract/subcontract requirements.
Experience leading contract kick-off meetings and contract briefings.
