Hendall is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our corporate contracts team. The Contracts Administrator will perform task order management, contract negotiation, contract compliance, and other project control and accounting office functions. This position will assist the Project Control Manager in the full-cycle coordination of incoming and existing government contracts. The position involves close coordination and collaboration with internal stakeholders across multiple departments, as well as acting as the contractual point of contact for subcontractors, consultants, and clients. The preferred candidate will have specific Federal Government contracting experience with a working knowledge of the FAR.
Identify, monitor, and maintain program specific requirements, to include contract briefs, contract performance, cost controls, and compliance with contract terms
Assist with the review, development, and execution of all contractual documents, to include prime contracts, subcontracts, Delivery/Task orders, and Purchase Orders
Manage subcontractor and consultant agreements, acting as main point of contact during initial proposal activities and throughout contract performance
Coordinate with program managers to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled
Prepare and disseminate information to the appropriate managerial level regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, termination, and closeout
Review contract solicitation terms, interpret agreement terms and conditions, identifying potential issues, and review agreement amendments / modifications, incorporating changes
Maintain current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices
Perform any and all other duties as assigned
Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
2 to 5 years of industry experience in Federal Government contract administration (primarily in professional services)
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its supplements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate, facilitate and disseminate information
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail
Experience working with a variety of contract types (FP, T&M, CPFF, CPAF, etc.)
Experience in monitoring contracts / subcontracts of increasing complexity and value
Detailed knowledge of government contract administration duties including subcontract flow downs, close-out, and records retention
Strong proficiency in MS Excel
