Data Monitor Systems, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience with Federal contracting. Candidate will be required to support a full range of cradle to grave contracting activities. This support will cover a wide range of customers on acquisitions to include procurement of complex and diversified items, services, and research and development.
The candidate will provide support to different organizations as required by the government.
Perform market research/analysis to determine availability of the requirement
Analyze market trends, commercial practices, conditions and technological advances, and elects appropriate techniques and procedures to solve any acquisition problem.
Analyze difficult contracting issues and determine recommended course of action.
Provide business advice and assistance to technical personnel involved in the development of statement of work or data requirements.
Support both classified and unclassified efforts.
Assist with Request for Proposal preparations.
Assist the support proposal evaluation by assisting the Government Contract Officers in negotiations.
Assist with the reviews of contractor performance and reports of contract discrepancies.
Assist with the administration and completion of contract/task order/purchase order modifications to include close-outs.
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience (5 years).
5 years experience with Standard Procurement System (SPS)
Extensive experience with USSOCOM procurement policies
Adept knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, and SOFAR
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Action Acquisition (DAWIA) Level II contracting certification or commercial equivalent
Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contract Manager (CFCM) certification
Secret clearance required
