Non-profit organization with several National Science Foundation awards and subawards seeks a part-time contract manager to ensure compliance with federal contract and financial requirements. In this role, you will:
Ensure contract and compliance documents are maintained accurately in accordance with contract requirements (including financial recording and reporting requirements)
Ensure contract related-data is current, accurate, and complete for federal requirements
Identify risks and issues related to compliance
Suggest alternatives and process improvements for compliance and reporting
Provide proposal pricing support to include labor rate development and compilation of financial and other required documents
Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
We anticipate this role will be approximately 10 hours per month, with additional hours initially for ensuring current processes within the organization are compliant. This has the potential to increase in hours as additional contracts are secured.
This is a remote work position (permanent). Contracted work is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in related field
5 years experience in contract management (including subcontracts and subawards) in the federal contract field
Proven record of contract management and compliance experience
Strong communication skills
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Desired experience with the National Science Foundation.
Bachelor’s degree in related field. Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certificate through the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) is preferred.
