The Legal Operations and Contracts Administrator improves and maintains the Legal Services Department's internal processes, systems, and technology tools. By working collaboratively across various departments within Hendrick Health, the Legal Operations and Contracts Administrator will keep Hendrick's Legal Services Department a well-oiled machine. This role reports directly to the General Counsel and oversees all operations related to Hendrick's Legal Services Department across the organization. The Legal Operations and Contracts Administrator is primarily responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating and revising contracts as well as overseeing other legal services requests and administration of the electronic contract management system and workflow.
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum Work Experience
5 years of total works experience in operations or law firm management.
Executive management experience and proven track record of making an impact, developing and executing on strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Technology-savvy; proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel; expertise with eBilling software
Proven negotiation skills with senior partner level outside counsel attorneys and pricing directors of law firms.
Demonstrated track record of influencing senior level stakeholders (both internal and external)
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong ability to communicate concisely with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management and key external stakeholders and proven ability to engage, influence and align stakeholders
Draft, review and negotiate terms and conditions, master services agreements, confidentiality agreements and other legal agreements as required.
Coordinate contract process, including preparation of legal documents, reviewing draft documents for review, and routing for approval and signature.
Work closely with counsel in assessing specific legal challenges and presenting options for internal and/or client review.
