Our Business Operations division is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join their growing team! The Contracts Administrator is responsible for full life cycle contract management (cradle-to-grave). Administers prime contracts/sub-to-prime contracts, including preparation and negotiation of proposals, contract administration, and contract close-out activities. We are seeking a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Serve as the company's primary point of contact with the contracting officials and/or Prime Contractor's Subcontracts Administrator for all assigned contracts.
Review solicitation requests to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
Assist with proposal pricing and narratives.
Negotiate contract terms from proposal stage to contract close-out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices.
Create moderate to complex RFP solicitations in accordance with Government requirements.
Evaluate supplier proposal responses.
Conduct price and cost analysis.
Prepare Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) compliant files.
Negotiate pricing and terms/conditions with subcontractors.
Administer contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity.
Ensure Annual Representation and Certifications are completed.
Backup support for processing Purchase Orders through the Unanet System.
Tracking of Small Business Goals when required.
Analyze risks and identify risk mitigation.
Participate in special projects as required.
Clearance: Ability to complete and clear a background check prior to start date. Must be clearable/ability to obtain clearance if needed.
Must possess excellent knowledge of Government Contracting requirements, including but not limited to knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Purchasing Systems, and Estimating Systems.
Experience negotiating terms and conditions.
Successful track record of managing a variety of subcontract types, interfacing with internal customers, other functional support staff, and suppliers.
Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
Must be able to work independently, establish priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
Software skills: Microsoft Office skills to include Microsoft Forms, Word and Excel, and working with Accounting Systems (i.e. Unanet).
Requires attention to detail, high degree of maturity and professionalism, logical thinking, and excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
