The Federal Contracts and Compliance Administrator will maintain an in-depth knowledge and working understanding of the US Government Acquisition and Procurement environment, including relevant company policies and procedures, commercial contracting methods, FAR/DFARS, export and other government regulations. - Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Independently lead and support proposal activities including, but not limited to analysis of solicitations, preparing summaries and developing strategies and recommendations based on the analysis, with attention to the financial and business risk of the proposed effort,
- Participate in all proposal team meetings, preparing the terms, conditions and assumptions upon which the proposal may be submitted, reviewing the technical and pricing proposals for accuracy and consistency, conducting overall business risk analysis and preparing the proposal documents and ongoing contract related correspondences for submittal to the Customer
- Coordinating with other company functions as required ensuring appropriate reviews are conducted, scheduling required reviews, and obtaining required review and approval signatures prior to submittal of proposals or execution of contractual documents
- Perform all aspects of assigned contract or purchase order-processing including, but not limited to, accuracy of order entry data, contract funding, scope changes, contract amendments, receipts and delivery schedules, legal requirements and other commitments
- Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and Company policies and procedures
- Support Program Managers and Business Area leads and provide contracts advice and counsel to company management at all levels as required. Develop specialized contracting knowledge in areas such as FAR/DFARS regulations, Intellectual Property, Commercial Contracting, and Teaming Agreements.
- Education/Qualifications
- Requires Bachelor's degree (in Business Administration or related field) or equivalent and two to four years of related (government contract administration) experience.
- Experience with various forms of government solicitations for a variety of contract types, as well as an understanding of ordering vehicles such as GWACs and GSA schedule contracts.
- Detailed experience with representations and certifications.
- Understanding of OCI issues and mitigation/avoidance strategies
- Experience with Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements (TAs), etc.
- Familiarity with various reporting requirements for Government Services contractors such as eCMRA, Service Contract Reporting, Small Business Subcontracting Plans, etc.
- Proficient in MS, Word, Power Point and Outlook with an emphasis with Excel
- Additional experience working with systems such as Deltek Costpoint and Cognos is a plus
- Requires ability to foster collaborative working relationship with a wide range of stakeholders
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
- Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel at all levels, customers, and suppliers;
- Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations;
- US Citizenship and ability to pass a government sponsored background investigation, if needed.

- Master’s Degree in Business or Finance
- Experience with Deltek Cost Point or similar ERP system
- Cost Volumes
- CFCM, CPCM or Professional Certification desired but not required
- Experience with both Federal, Civilian, and DoD Agencies
