The Sales Contract Coordinator is responsible for reviewing and interacting with every domestic and international LIP sales contract , from initial receipt by a Strategic Account Manager or Inside Sales Rep, to ensuring that an executed final version is obtained, to monitoring customer and CAP compliance to contract terms, and to analyze contract outcomes for renewal value.
Core Job Responsibilities
Be the point of contact for all contract questions by customers and staff.
Summarize contract terms for new, renewed and mid-contract modifications and communicate them to affected Operational departments.
Lead or facilitate regular meetings to review all things contract related.
Create reports for VA and DoD contract changes and budgeting.
Monitor customer and CAP compliance to contract terms.
Verify reporting has been done according to contract.
Validate correct prices and discounts were given.
Verify PT spend, LAP enrollment, access to Online Competency as per contract terms.
Coordinate the processing of rebates.
Verify that financial terms have been fulfilled.
Monitor contract compliance to Excluded Individuals and Entities list.
At contract term end, review contract and assess value; recommend renewal or termination of contract.
Initiate contract renewal.
Ensure creation of new price lists with updated prices.
Create product listing for VA and DoD in customer specific format.
Manage paper and electronic contract files.
Manage contract records, to include disposal.
Collaborate with CAP sales, purchasing, marketing, finance and customer data management groups to understand and ensure agreement terms are consistent with CAP’s business, financial, and risk management objectives.
Coordinate with other departments to complete contract requirements.
Maintain detailed records of the status of every pending contract; promptly communicate. updates and action items to relevant staff and the customer, to ensure everyone’s accountability and progress toward completion.
Leads cross organization collaboration and coordination for completion of assigned Bids, including preparation of bid responses. Requires, from time to time, direct communication with customers to facilitate the submission of Bids.
Assists Sales and Sales Operations in the development of bid responses, pricing, and overall strategy.
Supports sales by providing company information via Vendor Forms, Certificates of Insurance, etc.
Monitor and utilize Government and IDN websites for bid schedules and response uploads.
Proactively search for bid opportunities on various websites.

Familiarity with—or aptitude for learning—contract documents and terms, with an ability to identify and summarize contract terms.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products with intermediate computer skills.
Bachelor’s in business, contracts administration, legal studies, or a related field preferred.
Associates degree or governmental contractual experience for 2 or more years accepted.
Minimum of 5 years sales contracting experience with a Healthcare Company (e.g. Medical Device or Diagnostics)
