TSI is seeking an experienced contracts administrator capable of managing large and complex government contracts from bid through the period of performance. This will include subsequent proposal preparation review/support, negotiations, post-award contract set-up and administration, and contract closeouts, all in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer/contract specifications.
Presently there is one contract and one task order to be managed. The position is set to grow with the company.
Reviewing and analyzing RFPs; negotiating customer contracts; reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various types of agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and product and service agreements.
Reviewing and advising on documents prepared by clients, such as statements of work, service level agreements, pricing schedules, and customer obligations.
Advising clients on various contractual provisions and issues.
Working with clients to develop resolutions to business disputes.
Experience working in Deltek Costpoint 8
Negotiating with customers to achieve a satisfactory resolution of the disputes.
The focal point for all contractual issues with our clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Ensuring compliance with all corporate policies.
Working with other internal corporate units in a collaborative, constructive manner.
Identification, analysis, and communication of risk areas throughout the contract lifecycle
Reviewing internal policies and provide proactive advice to internal groups.
Advising and training internal clients on various corporate policies, procedures, contractual provisions, issues, approaches, and preferred practices.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the immediate manager.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in federal contract administration.
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.
Prior experience in Deltek Costpoint 8
Strong understanding of the FAR and DFAR Clauses in addition to federal procurement processes.
Prior experience in negotiating contracts with subcontractors and other related contractual issues.
Managing T&M and FFP contracts plus IDIQ task order type contracts with Federal, State, and Local Governments as well as commercial entities.
Experience relating to RFP analysis, proposal submission, and negotiation of contracts, subcontracts, task orders, and modifications.
Ability to work in and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple, concurrent activities with short turn-around times.
Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance.
Strong customer focus with the ability to manage customer expectations and experience.
Team-oriented interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and a high level of business acumen with the ability to interface with a broad range of people and roles.
Critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
Exercise sound business judgment.
Superior oral and written communication skills.
Professional Contracts certification or related coursework.
Experience as a Federal Contracting Specialist or Contracting Officer.
CFCM or CPCM Certification(s) desired, but not required.
Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain.
Must have a valid United States passport
